Stratford Foundation Inc.
Since 1986 the Stratford Foundation Inc. has served as a valuable educational resource for the Boston area teaching community. As a nonprofit, we support both students and educators by developing innovative teaching methods that engage and enhance lesson absorption. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we support and oversee three branches.
The first to be established was our Commonwealth Learning Center, which provides customized one-on-one tutoring and assessments to students of all ages. This on-site center has two convenient locations in Danvers and Needham.
We also formed the Professional Training Institute, which offers on-site research-based teacher training to help educators and school administrators do their jobs better.
Our newest division is the Commonwealth Learning Online Institute, an online branch of teacher training which offers a set of online reading courses designed to improve teacher effectiveness, streamline implementation of the Common Core State Standards, and increase the percentage of college and career ready students. Our online course offerings come after years of research and collaboration with educators.
We offer opportunities for instructors and educational professionals to earn credits and enhance their career development. We are also constantly expanding our online course offerings in reading and writing instruction.
