It has been determined that the CCSS has 6 main pedagogical shifts. Shift one is a true balance between literacy and informational text dependent on the grade level taught. During this self-paced course you will read, watch, and reflect on literature and informational text balancing. The culminating project is to create a lesson or unit that revolves around a balanced usage of informational and literature text to present and teach about a topic addressed by the CCSS at your grade level.
