Yes, the self-paced courses can also count for special education PDPs. They are designed to provide you with background knowledge, assessments, teaching strategies for all learners, and techniques to apply your knowledge. Check with your administrator for signing off for PDPs.

» What is CCSS?

CCSS stands for Common Core State Standards which were developed by the Common Core State Standards Initiative. Many states have adapted their state standards from the CCSS or adopted CCSS. Excerpted from The Common Core State Standards are a set of clear educational standards for kindergarten through 12th grade in English language arts and mathematics that states voluntarily adopt to prepare students to be college and career ready.  The standards establish what students need to learn, but they do not dictate how teachers should teach.

» What technical equipment is required to complete the courses?
